HILVERSUM, Netherlands (CelebrityAcccess) — On May 16th, Universal Music Group announced the results of its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders during which all proposed resolutions on the agenda were adopted.

Those resolutions included a positive advisory vote on the 2023 remuneration report as well as the adoption of the Non-Executive Directors’ Remuneration Policy, including the authorization to issue shares and grant rights to Non-Executive Directors under the Non-Executive Directors’ Remuneration Policy.

Additionally, UMG’s shareholders approved the re-appointment of Vincent Vallejo as Executive Director of the company’s board, along with the re-appointment of Bill Ackman, Cathia Lawson-Hall, Cyrille Bolloré, James Mitchell, Manning Doherty, Margaret Frerejean-Taittinger and Nicole Avant as Non-Executive Directors.

UMG shareholders also approved the appointment of new non-executive directors Eric Sprunk and Mandy Ginsberg.

The proposal to adopt a final dividend of EUR 0.27 per share was also approved, with dividends set to be recorded on May 21st and the final payment date on June 11.
