Suede, Jessie J, Corinne Bailey Rae headline Macau’s KoolTai music festival – a packed, full-day affair
Veteran alternative rock band Suede, pop singer Jessie J, Grammy winner Corinne Bailey Rae and host of acts from Hong Kong, Macau, mainland China and beyond took to the stage at the Cotai Arena in Macau over the weekend at the first KoolTai music festival.

The event, originally scheduled to take place over two days but later shortened to one, saw 20 acts perform from about midday on Saturday until the early hours of Sunday.

Crowds at the 15,000-seat venue were at times spartan, and the festival overran by more than an hour, but the music mix, which ranged from indie rock to bossa nova and Cantopop, proved a hit with the audience.

Those that stayed until the very end saw a pretty spectacular hour-long show from Suede.
