Friends fans may feel like they know all about the character’s lives, however, Matthew Perry, aka, Chandler, has posted a photo of his real dad, John Bennett Perry, and fans can’t get over the fact he actually featured in Friends himself. Could we be any more shocked?!
Matthew Perry rose to fame with the rest of the Friends cast, when they starred in arguably, one of the most iconic TV shows ever created, in 1995. Almost 20 years after the series came to an end, old, and new fans, are still binging the show as if it dropped yesterday, and still keeping up to date with the life of the cast.

Matthew Perry posts with lookalike dad and fans are in disbelief
Taking to his 7.6 million Instagram followers, the 54-year-old posted a rare pic arm in arm with his father, which he captioned:
“Here is me, and my father John, both holding a beverage.” The duo can be seen standing in a room with a pool table and a sign which reads: “I forget what I forgot.”
It’s no foosball table, but we’re going to make a resemblance to Joey and Chandler’s man cave anyway.
Of course, fans took to the comments to make Friends references, as any post, and others were in disbelief that they recognized John from a cameo on the hit show, playing, one of Rachel’s love interests, Joshua’s, dad, in season 4.
“Wait! He was Joshua’s dad in the episode where Jennifer was wearing a nightie as a dress!! His best line ‘I like this one, she seems smart!'” exclaimed one shocked fan.
“He did?? Oh, I missed that!! JOSHUAAAA!!” wrote another.
One fan, who had just learnt of the news said: “That’s right!!! He did have a great line!!!!”
“Could he be any more prouder!!!” exclaimed another.
